Bug in the homepage disposition of the wall of posts
-
Hi there,
I and my partners of the movie website À pala de Walsh have noticed some strange effects in the homepage, as we enter it. There is a phantom-like effect over the first or most recent posts that’s quite annoying.
We ask you to please solve this issue as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Luis Mendonca

I don’t see anything odd about that site at all. Please post screenshot, upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.
I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Thanks time thief, for the quick response.
Actually, it’s impossible to do a screen shot because it is a very fast “apparition” of the image of a post over the first one at the wall.
Try entering and resting the mouse in the first post. You’ll see a sudden phantom-like superimposition. And if you scroll down this effect repeats itself.

I must say that the problem is getting worser. It seems that every time wordpress changes some thing in their templates, these kind of bugs always appear. Can anyone tell how or when they are going to handle this issue?
-
That’s odd, I can’t see the problem either.
First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://www.whatbrowser.org/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these three things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

Hi there, macmanx,
Thanks for the suggestions.
But I believe it doesn’t have anything to do with the browser, because all the editors of site notice the same problem.
In fact, one of them was able to capture the image at the time when all the posts are superimposed.
Take a look please, and tell what is happening here.
Best regards,

Hm, yeah, I’m definitely not seeing that.
Would you please try the troubleshooting steps listed earlier and let us know how that goes?
-
I’ve cleared the cache and cookie, enabled their party cookies and also disabled add-ons.
The problem persists…

The current version is 5.0.
I took a capture now: http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/5742/capturadeecr20130225s22.png

That’s a bit out of date. The current version of Safari is 6.0.2.
Are you able to upgrade, or switch to a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome?
I can’t see the issue myself under Safari 6.0.2, Firefox 19, and Chrome 25.0.1364.99.

-
Are you running an extensions in Safari? If so, could you please check with those disabled?
-
-
Howdy! I was able to reproduce this. I’ve filed a ticket and we’ll let you know when we have more information — thanks for the report!

-
Can anyone tell me how much time we have to wait more until this problem is solved? (It’s really annoying and gives a kind of unprofessional look to the site…)
-
I’m sorry but we Volunteers cannot help you. All I can do is tag the thread for a response from Staff and I did that.
