BUG: Minor calendar error
-
Hi. This has been a problem for basically forever, but it’s so small that I never bothered to report it. Still, I guess there’s no harm in it.
Do the following:
- Schedule a post for exactly midnight (12am, 0 minutes) on the 1st of a month.
- Open another post, and click to schedule it, bringing up the schedule calendar. Scroll to the month where you scheduled the previous post.
- There is no indication that the previous post was properly scheduled.
Every scheduled post is supposed to leave a dot underneath its day on the calendar, which is visible from any other post. So, if you have one or more posts scheduled for June 3rd, then June 3rd will have a dot. However, if you set a post to exactly midnight on the 1st of a month, the dot will not appear. If you set it as much as 1 minute later, the dot will appear properly, and it will also appear properly if you schedule the post to midnight on any other day of the month. The problem only occurs for midnight on the first.
That’s all. It’s not a big deal but, as someone who schedules posts for midnight, it is misleading and has occasionally gotten me confused. Obviously I could just schedule those posts to 12:01, but that only occurs to me after I trip over the error and get confused. Hopefully someone can spare the time to fix this minor annoyance.
