Bug on Radcliffe 2's Featured Prompt

    Please just take a look at my homepage and you’ll see the problem. I have a paid account. I’m just testing on this one.

    I’ve been finding bugs in every theme I test. Dara also has a problem, as well as Gateway and Lodestar. I’d like to keep Radcliffe 2 at last and put an end on this drama.

    Please let me know if I am the one who’s doing something wrong.

    The bug is, instead of the title, text and button overlay on the front page’s featured image, they show on a giant gray stripe that shows up above the featured image.

    I see the demo normally.

    I followed instructions since the beginning. I would never start this topic if I hadn’t tried everything before.

    There’s no mistery. You just have to type a text and it should show on the top of the photo, NOT in a huge gray strip ABOVE it.

    I’m still waiting for a solution, otherwise I’ll be forced to cancel my plan.

    This is not the first theme I found bugs. There’s a problem in every theme I tested.

    Can you grab a screen shot of the bug so we can compare that to what we see on our side? That will be super helpful in getting this straightened out. Just let us know once you’ve added the image to your site’s media library and we can view it there. Thanks :)

    Hello.

    I’ve just added 2 screen shots to my library. It looks the same wherever I access my site.

    As soon as I try to customize the featured prompt feature and check on
    “display on the front page” box, that gray strip with whatever I write shows up above the featured image, instead of overlaying it.

    To set a background image to your front page when using that theme you need to go to the Customizer > Featured Prompt and select an image by clicking the Select Image button at the bottom.

    Then remove the featured image from the untitled page you have set as your static home page.

    Yes, it finally worked! Shouldn’t have set a featured image beforehand.
