Bug report: Ampersand problem between backticks

  When I type “backstick SOMETHING ampersand backtick” in my blog post, it shows up as “SOMETHING ampersand amp;” in the preview. I.e., I see extra “amp;” characters. I have to work it around by the using the code tag instead of backtick.

  Not sure whether I can type the characters to make it more straightforward:

  SOMETHING & becomes SOMETHING &.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Apparent there is some double encoding/decoding problem. The code is typed in three different ways, but it looks all the same. Also, the behavior is again different from the post editor.
