'Bug' with using Shortcode [display-posts] in a blog post

I’ve been doing a lot of testing and have now found a problem using Shortcode [display-posts] in a blog post. When I include a tag parameter, the shortcode fails to function in a blog post (it does nothing at all). The same code works fine on a page. When I remove the tag parameter, the shortcode functions just as I expected in a blog post, except I don’t get the filtering I would like.
I provide two examples to illustrate this:
With a tag parameter:

https://calhortsociety.wordpress.com/2018/04/22/plant-forum-notes-test-post-2/I assume that this is a ‘bug’. Is this the proper place to report such a problem?

I’ll be happy to try and replicate this and follow up with a bug if that’s the conclusion we find.
Can you tell me more about the local environment you’re using.

BTW – I did some testing using Google Chrome, which provided the same results as mentioned in the original message.

Hi, thanks.. yeah this doesn’t look like a browser issue.
Can you try using cyclamen-persicum as your tag instead? Basically using that tag’s slug instead of the name with a space in it.
