Build an online book?

  Basically, I would like to build an online book that I can edit as needed. Like this:

  Table of contents

  Themes:

  Nature
  Humor
  Relationships
  Words to live by
  etc.

  When you click on a Theme, all the Entries in that Theme would appear:

  Nature
  Walking- Thoreau
  The Forest- RW Emerson
  The Path- Gentry

  When you click on an Entry, it would open a page showing the full text of, say,
  Walking, by Thoreau.

  I don’t want it to be organized by “latest entires” like a blog. Rather, by Themes and Entries.

  Is this possible with WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  All blog posts appear on the posts page. If you don’t want your blog posts to appear on the front page of your site, which it does by default, you can create a static front page following this guide https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  What you are describing are called Category Pages. In order to link to category pages you need to assign categories to each of your blog posts.

  Once you have several posts with categories, you can then link to the Category page from your site’s static front page or create a Custom Menu for your website using the Category title in the navigation menu.

  To see this in action you can look at the demo site for Independent Publisher 2, the theme you are currently using. https://independentpublisher2demo.wordpress.com/ Look just below each blog entry on the front page and you’ll see the file folder icon with the relevant category. Click on one of them to open a Category page.
