Build in Google Spreadsheet file (editable)
-
Hello.
I’ve created a calculator in Google Spreadsheets for my clients. Now I need to test it by giving them a test version, but they are now allowed to copy it. So I need a website for that. How can I do that with your tools?
Best regards,

Hello there,
This is possible as per this guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/google-docs/#sheets whereby you can embed a Google sheet onto a page.
Please note that in order to use the iframe, the site would need to be on the business plan.
I hope this helps!

Hello!
Thank you for the reply.
I’ve seen this option of embedding, but often times it doesn’t allow users to edit cells and copy tabs within the spreadsheet. Can they do that? -
Hello there,
You would need to allow collaboration over the sheet itself.
This can be done as per: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/9331169?hl=en-GB

Hi, I’ve tried to do that earlier the same way, but I just got embed or published non-editable spreadsheet. If I want people to edit there is no way to do that, as it seems. Even when I granted people to edit it only works within the spreadsheet and only if I add their email. But I need the opposite: not adding email and have people edit the spreadsheet.
Any ideas? :) -
It’s a bit out of our wheelhouse, but I did find this:
Also, are you worried about people defacing the document if they have full access? If so, I’d recommend restricting it somehow.

I think I’ve just found a solution. It’s called GRID https://grid.is/ you can build a calculator based on your google formulas. The main feature that you have just one sheet of good working calculator and GRID transforms it into nice looking non-spreadsheet calculator that many users at once can use it.
