  im not sure how to build a website and do not want to switch my domian yet before i can see your prices and how your web builder works

  Why not create a free site https://wordpress.com/pricing/ and experiment.
  You can upgrade that site to a paid plan later to enable you to map/transfer your existing domain to it.
