Building a Community online

  Does wordpress have tools to develop a community, or ‘ning’ type of community online? I want to develop a community based website and need to have forms, bulletin boards, ad space, blog space, the ability for the community to upload their own media-photos, videos and comments. I am trying to decide of WordPress is a good tool for my vision.

  Yes, wordpress does, but no, WordPress.com does not. What you want is Buddypress. We cannot help you with that, but I believe there are forums for it at Buddypress.org.
