Building a new site!

    I have chosen everything to be free at present so I can test everything out to see if I am capable of getting it altogether. Please can you answer the following questions for me :
    1) The Web address is currently absolutemagiccom.wordpress.com, can this be changed to my current web address absolute-magic.com?
    2) This domain is owned by us, and is currently being hosted by another provider, we are not happy with them, so we are trying out with you to see we can manage on our own, domain is with godaddy, we can point it your way when we are ready and manageable
    3) What are the fees when we actually start using our own domain, and can it be paid monthly rather than annually
    4) I am also interested in purchasing a couple more domain names so that it will get a slightly wider exposure in different markets and point them to the main domain, is it possible with wordpress
    5) Prior to launching the site, if the above are all possible, what are the minimum fees involved whilst building the site from scratch
    This are the temporary questions I have, hope to hear from you shortly.

    In order to use your custom domain, you have to purchase a plan first. Once you do that, you can map or transfer your domain as required.

    Yes, you can either map or transfer your domain here and the .wordpress.com address will be hidden. You can read more about it here:

    You need one of our plans (except for the Blogger plan) to keep a domain registered or mapped with your site. You can see the prices of all our plans here:

    Also, all plans and renewals can only be paid a year in advance. There’s no monthly payment option.

    There are no launching fees on WordPress.com.
