Building a new website
-
Hi, I want to migrate my website http://www.banarascalling.com to WordPress with a paid plan but I have slight confusion here. Would I need to make a separate WordPress account for that or I can do that through this account only, i.e., santoshchaubey. I have to retain this account and santoshchaubey.wordpress.com. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can add a new site (or for that matter as many as you wish) to your existing WordPress.com account.
Go to My Sites → Switch Site → Add New Site or go directly to https://wordpress.com/start/
You can see all WordPress.com plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/ page.
Looks like http://www.banarascalling.com is on Blogger, currently. Here is a guide that might be useful to you – https://transferto.wordpress.com/blogger/

Hi Mr Jain,
Thanks for your support.
One more question, will I get my custom domain name, i.e., http://www.banarascalling.com transferred to WordPress as such or it will get truncated to banarascalling.wordpress.com?Sincerely
Santosh -
WordPress.com doesn’t accept incoming domain transfer requests. So you need to keep your domain (for renewal etc. purposes) with your current domain name service provider.
If you wish to use your domain name with your WordPress.com site, it’s very much possible by mapping your domain name to your WordPress.com site. You’ll need a paid plan to do so.
You can see all WordPress.com plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/ page.
See domain mapping process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

Thanks Mr Jain,
It means I can use http://www.banarascalling.com with WordPress with a paid plan after mapping the same, something that I intend to take. But for domain renewal, I will have to pay to Blogger annually as I have been doing.Sincerely

I will have to pay to Blogger annually as I have been doing.
You can continue paying Blogger or transfer your domain to some other domain name service provider if you wish to do so.
