Building a platform

    Hello, community! I’m new here, so maybe this question has been asked before, but I’m looking to build a website and act as a platform between a supplier (who uploads their own inventory) and a buyer. I know Wix is very limited in this instance, but can I use WordPress to do this?

    It would be possible to set that up on WordPress.com using WooCommerce and and this plugin:

    Product Vendors

    The Product Vendors plugin will allow multiple vendors to sell via your site and in return you would take a commission on sales to cover the costs of managing the site. There is full info on how this plugin works in the documentation here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-vendors/

    It is not possible to use plugins like WooCommerce and WooCommerce Product Vendors on free sites on WordPress.com, so to be able to upload those you will first need to upgrade your site to our WordPress.com Business Plan. More info here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
