Building a professionell blog

I want to start a professionell blog. I have a domain name and I have a host (One.com). I also have a program to make home pages (Serif Web Plus X6), but I´m not confortable with making blogs there.
I have used Word Press for blogging Before, but just for fun.
My question is:
– is it possible to use my domain and host and just redirect it to WP? How much does it cost?
– what should I do to get started????

Find a theme you like – not all look nice for a Professional site – but your choice
The no ads upgrade at $ 30.- / year for a professional site is also good
Since you have used WordPress before you already know how the software works and how to change your site

Is it possible for me to make Changes in the theme i choose? If I pay for mapping and no ads?

Many themes have the ability to change them a bit – newer themes seem to have more built in features
Mapping and No ads is just that – no more no less
If you want to make major changes to a theme then you would be looking at the CSS – Custom Design Upgrade at $ 30.– / year
But many themes have the ability to change colors, upload custom headers and many other features as standard features – the site linked to my name has different colors and I uploaded a custom header for instance
