Building a Shared WordPress Page
-
I’m looking to build a site that multiple people (12 at this time) can do the following on: post blogs, tag posts, comment on other posts. What is the best platform to do this on? Should I upgrade to a paid version of wordpress?
Right now our idea is to have one page with a mutual login that everyone can use. Thoughts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @a2megal, you can do this with any of our plans. User would simply log into WordPress.com and navigate to the proper site, or you could make direct links for them.

Hi supernova. I’m aware that anyone could comment on my blog, but I’m looking for users to engage with each other. They would need to be able to comment on each others’ comments and be able to post on a given page (read topic). Is there a difference between the different plans when it comes to multiple users posting, commenting, and tagging?

@a2megal sure, please check the article I posted.
Also, about replying to each other’s comments, you can use threaded comments even if they are not authors/editors/etc. on the site:

Hi supernovia.
Thanks for the feedback, and I did read the article that you posted. However, it didn’t answer my question. Maybe this isn’t the best platform for the project. Thanks for your assistance.

Okay. If adding users or creating a bulletin-board type site wouldn’t work for you, you might also consider installing your own copy of WordPress elsewhere. We couldn’t provide support for it here, but it would allow you to install plugins to achieve a closer effect. Anyway, best wishes.
