  I would like to build a website….. I have registered a domain name but I get put through to building a blog site. I dont want a blog site yet. Most frustrating.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  So do I understand that you want to build a page-based website? If so, here are some resources to get you started on creating a page-based site on WordPressdotcom:

  Note that your site’s RSS feed is populated by what you post in Posts, so you may want to consider keeping the Posts page and using it for news/announcements and such like.

  Went onto add page. Put a head line in, couldn’t change it to centre alignmant, no option to add a picture. Still confused.

  The alignment of page and post titles is determined by the theme you are using. I don’t recall offhand whether there is a theme that center-aligns page titles, the vast majority are left-aligned for Left-to-Right languages.
