Building a website

  I switched from 1&1 to GoDaddy. I hired a company to update and optimize my website and they did not complete the project. I supposedly have the files and need some wordpress plugins to make it work. Where do I start to use WordPress to build my site and then get online with GoDaddy?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @bobbanka – If you wish to use Plugins on your WordPress site then you would need to use WordPress.org. Plugins are a feature that are only supported on self hosted sites using the installation of WordPress.

  That is very different than what goes on here at WordPress.com. WordPress.org and WordPress.com are entirely different. If you like, you can read more about those differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
