Building a website, and then transferring my old domain?

    I want to build a new website for my organization on wordpress. The current domain that I have is hosted by drupal. I’d like to get the new website completely ready on wordpress and then transfer the domain. Is this possible to do?

    When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com or *.wpcomstaging.com depending on your plan) that you can use to start building your new site.
