Hi there!
You likely don’t want to cancel the domain at WordPress.com. That would result in the domain being returned to the registrar and potentially being registered by someone else before you have a chance to re-register it. In that case, you would lose your domain (which we don’t want!). Here’s the best plan going forward:
1. Right now, you can change your name servers to use your domain with a GoDaddy hosting plan as described here:
That way, you can use your domain with GoDaddy without worrying about losing it.
2. After 60 days, you can transfer the domain to GoDaddy as described here:
Then, your domain and hosting service would both be managed at GoDaddy.
3. When you want to start your blog at WordPress.com, you can map a subdomain of your domain (like blog.1trueyou.com) to your WordPress.com site following the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/#instructions-for-mapping-subdomains
Is that the kind of setup you’re looking for?
