  I already have hosting, how do I start building my website?

  Hi there,

  If you already have hosting elsewhere, you’re using the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org.

  The forum you’re posting in now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We’re not the same thing as the WordPress software you’ll be using.

  For help with your version of WordPress you can ask the community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, and there are many excellent tutorials available if you search online, depending on what you want to do.
