Bulk editing of past posts
-
I just changed my theme and the byline I have been using up to now is too wide. Altering it is easy, but is there a way to “bulk edit” this one little change on my earlier posts? Or do I have to open every post and change the byline width? Thanks!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Changing your blog’s Site Title and/or the optional Tagline on this page > Settings > General universally applies to what’s displayed on every page in the entire blog.

Thanks for replying timethief. It’s not the title or tagline that want to edit, but rather a short byline that I paste at the end of my posts. This is why I think I will have to edit each one on its own…

If you are adding anything to the end of your posts then there is no find and replace function that can and will bulk edit the posts and remove it. That has to be done manually.

However, if you have one of the few themes that do display an author profile below every post the data derived from here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile > About You (section) and appears appears on your Gravatar profile page as well. You can edit it on that page and in that section.
