Bulk editing only updates a fraction of posts displayed
-
Brief question about bulk editing of category tags. I recently imported a number of posts from one website to http://www.akappleug.org and needed to go through and update about 800 of the posts to include the category ‘reviews’. There are four overriding categories that these posts were divided into, ‘Accessories’, ‘Software’, ‘Hardware’, and ‘Books’. When I filtered for one of those four categories, modified the number of posts displayed to show the entire category-worth, and then performed a bulk edit to add the ‘reviews’ category, it would only update 83 of the posts, whether I had 100 posts displayed or 325 posts displayed. Not sure why this was, but noticed in the URL following the update action that only 83 had been updated.
Probably not a problem for most, but apparently there is a small bug in the bulk editing code somewhere.
