Bulk re-attaching images not working

    This method of bulk re-attaching images appears not to be working for me. Any solution, workarounds or other methods would be appreciated.

    Thanks for getting in touch. When you say it’s not working – what does that mean exactly? Is there an error message? Is there a behavior that you can describe to us? That will be helpful in figuring things out.

    There is no error message. In fact a dialog reporting that a number of files have been attached appears, though the number is not always the full number that were selected. However, the files remain on the unattached list when filtered, and the ‘attach’ link for each image still appears.

    I am using a Divi theme and I wonder is it something to do with that, as this method of bulk attachment of files seems to fall under the WordPress media library module.

    Don’t think this is the problem now as I have tried the procedure on my partner’s WordPress site and the behavior is the same!

  • Hi there, can you clarify what you are trying to do by attaching unattached images? The steps in that guide may not work based on the 3rd party plugins or themes you are using on your WordPress.com Business site.

    I’ve watched the YouTube video that you linked, but I’m not sure what the expected outcome would be here. You are trying to have these images show up on your Eve and Josh project (portfolio item) so they appear in the page layout? The reason I ask is because we do not offer Divi on WordPress.com (it is a 3rd party alternative to the default WordPress editor) and the instructions in that guide were not written with Divi in mind.
