Bulk Set To Draft Feature

I am requesting for a bulk set to draft feature for pages and posts.

When I load tour dates into my site, even though it pulls the show off the last once the show has happened, if I don’t unpublish the show, then previous shows will still keep showing up under related posts when people look at upcoming tour dates.

If the band plays 10 shows in 2 weeks, it is quite time consuming to go in unpublish 10 shows 1 by one.

I know that I can edit this in bulk in phpmyadmin, but in my case since I am only unpublishing certain shows and not all of them, hunting through the database for specific shows isn’t much faster.

I am thinking of just writing a css code to display none related shows so I don’t have to deal with unpublishing anymore, but then I am losing a feature of my website.

I suppose I could also contact the theme developer and see if they have some way of correcting this, but I feel like I can’t be the only person who has a need to unpublish things in bulk and that it is a feature that should be added to the back end of WordPress.

I couldn’t find any plugins that do this either, so maybe if someone who is smarter than me and knows how to write plugins wants to write one, let me know lol

    Hi there,

It looks like your site, theglides.com, is hosted by GoDaddy. Since it is hosted outside of WordPress, you will need to inquire on the WordPress.ORG forum.

Here is a support document that explains the difference between .com and .org WordPress sites.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

And here is the link to the .ORG support forums where you’ll get tons of help!

Let me know if you have any questions!
