Bullet Point Spacing
-
Hi all! I tried to figure this out on my own without posting to you but couldn’t. On our website: http://ctpcsw.com/where-weve-been-lately/ we have a bulleted list and I want to drastically decrease the space between the text that comes before the list and the actual list. I have the CSS upgrade and played around with changing padding and margins and nothing made a difference. Any advice? Thank you!

if so
ul {margin-top: -14px;}
will work though using negative values isn’t a great idea probably.What happens if you make the entire thing into a list and then use CSS to hide the first level of bullets?

Yes – that is exactly the gap I mean – I’ll try out your suggestions and report back :-)

The paragraph tag, which you are using on the dates, also adds space.
Why not just simply indent the text without using the unordered list? If you want to emphasize it, you can use a custom character like a right arrow or diamond.

.entry ul {margin-top:-10px;}The line above works for me. Does it definitely not work for you?
