Bulleted/Indented Sub-Categories

  I’ve made use of the sub-category feature on WP (or is it just my theme?) yet they appear as any other category to the right of my blog page. Is there a way to make them indented under their parent category (as they are in the WP editor > manage > categories)? It seems they are only actually sub-categorized in the url.

  In the editor, it looks like this (this is what I want on the site)

  Language
  – Etymology
  – Non-fiction

  But on the site, to the right-hand side, what the reader sees is this

  Etymology
  Language
  Non-Fiction

  In the category widget, check the box that says “show hierarchy”.
