  Hello all! I am trying to make a community bulletin board. I thought that I could use the word press blog to do so. I am wondering if I was wrong? I want the main page to be open for posting, for anyone to post a message. Event flyers, notices, etc… Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible with word press? Anyone know of a free site that can do this?

  You cannot use a WordPress.com blog in this way. I think what you want is a wiki. Try Wikispaces.com.
