Bundle not including free domain

  I just created my first blog on WordPress.com and saw the bundle offer. I compared the bundle offer to what I planned to purchase and found it a tad more expensive but probably worth the extra features. So I bought the bundle. I then went to attach a domain I already own to the blog, and WordPress wants to charge me $13/year.

  To repeat, I already own the domain name.

  The bundle clear said that it includes a domain of my choice. I went to look at the add-ons included with my blog and found this description:

  “This bundle upgrade includes all the upgrades available on WordPress.com:.

  A domain of your choice to replace your site’s default address of https://arachnidrex.wordpress.com/”

  How do I get the domain of my choice with my bundle price? Thank you!

  Here is what it says when I go to add the domain:

  “A free domain was included in the purchase of your WordPress.com Bundle. Get that domain for your site now!

  Adding blog.arachnidrex.com

  You can add the domain blog.arachnidrex.com to your blog right now. You can use it as your blog address for $13.00 a year.”

  Never mind. I deleted the bundle. I’ll just get the upgrades I want. It’s a few dollars cheaper than the bundle anyway, even with paying for domain mapping, but especially compared to paying for both bundle and domain mapping.

  How do I delete this thread? Thanks!

  This thread is here until the end of the internet or WordPress.COM which ever is sooner – threads can’t be deleted by you – only staff – they normally leave threads up so others can learn from you.

  And the best way to get there is with the infinite improbability drive. Don’t forget to to to the start of the universe and deposit one penny in your account so you can afford the Miulliways meal!
