  Hello,
  I recently purchased a personal plan from WordPress that included a free domain. I was charged $35.88 and unfortunately, the domain I chose resulted in me getting targeted by cyberstalkers and cyber bullies. Therefore, I regrettably chose to cancel the domain and plan. Out of the $35.88, I only am getting a refund of $5.88. I haven’t even had or used this service of yours for a month? So why am I not getting more money back? And if I’m not going to get the remainder of my purchase cost back, what service are you going to provide me in its place? A new domain name perhaps and personal plan? I’m not happy that after only using this service/domain for less than 3 weeks, I’m not getting more money refunded, or something else provided in its place. I paid for a years worth of service and it’s simply a ripoff.

  Hi there, Staff will answer you concerning a full refund when they get to this thread, but I just want to add that if you registered a new domain here as a part of your plan, the period for cancellation and refund is within 48-hours of new domain registration. After that, it is not refundable. Please see this support guide on refunds: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

  If you plan on using that domain somewhere else on the web, do not cancel the domain. There is no guarantee that it will be possible to reregister your above domain with a different registrar/web host or recover a cancelled domain once cancelled. More on that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/cancel-domain/

  In light of the above, please let Staff know whether you wish to cancel your domain registration entirely or keep it.

  Well, if that’s the case, then how I do I get my personal plan and domain back? They can recharge me the $5.88 they just refunded. I may as well keep it for the year since I’m out $30. Thanks for the info and your continued help.
