    Hi why do i have to get a business plan to install a plug in. I cannot afford a business account and nor do i want one. I am trying to install a new plug in from a bonus i got for purchasing a product called affilmakereter they have made and set up my site i just want to up load a plug in thank you ….sally candy

    Hi there, sites with plugins on WordPress.com have a different infrastructure here and so require at least a Business upgrade plan in order to install them.

    You can continue to use your free WordPress.com website for as long as you like without plugins or upgrade to the WordPress.com Business plan or you can move your site to a different hosting provider that supports the WordPress software so you can install plugins there.
