Business ?

  Is there anyone on here that has been creating wordpress.com sites for their clients as a business? I have helped alot of friends over the years for free and I need to change that and get paid for my services.

  Yes, some of us but hardly as a main source of income. WordPress.com in particular is so simple to use that to charge more than a couple of hundred dollars for a complete setup is just out of bounds. How much did you think you could ask, and how can you compete against professionals who are familiar with WordPress.com, WordPress.org, CSS editing, etc? There are literally thousands of those.

  As for moving forward with your project, I’d suggest that you set up a blog and include examples of your work that you’ve done for your friends and family, write blogging tips, have a contact form so folks who are interested can reach you, use social media to spread the word about your endeavor…
