Business account subdomain mapping

  Hi. I need to instruct our domain administrator what to do for setting up a subdomain to map to WordPress. And I will of course upgrade this account to business when he make the DNS changes. Our current site is beta-techinc.com I will keep this active and make the new site as new.beta-techinc.com Do I just follow these steps using the mapped domain as new.beta-techinc.com? https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
