Thank you, on desktop/ tablet is all fine now. A (cheesy) way to workaround the jumpiness would be to add some pixel (try & error) lines of white to all the other images except home header? (I try this myself).
Still on mobile decive (iphone 6) I have a light grey area above the header image on home. And now – new – the same sized grey area above logo/ menu button. Do you have any solution for this?

You have the Mobile theme active, which is only intended for themes that are not responsive in design. Go to your WP Admin and to Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme and save.

Hmmm, I’m just not seeing that on my phone or tablet in both portrait and landscape orientation. I do see a grey line above the logo and menu button, is that what you are referring to?
Looking closer, I do see what appears to be a very faint grey above and below the logo/menu icon. Add this and see if this does it for you.

Last question before closing the topic: Is there any other chance of solution for the jumpiness on home? It seems that there is less “white space” between top and logo/ menu area comparing any other sub page.

I can’t reproduce the jumpiness on my MacBook Pro or on my iPhone 6s Plus. Can you give me some help with the steps to reproduce it?
