Hello,
How can I create a linkable colored button to the pages of my site? I had created one with a different theme but the same code didn’t work with my new thems, Business Identity.
Thank you.

Hello!
Business Identity has a special CSS – call-to-action – that you can use alongside HTML to create a stylised button:
<a class="call-to-action" href="#">Text for your button goes here.</a>Let me know if the above helps out or if you have any extra questions.

Perfect, thank you! Next question is how do I change the color of the background and font?

I’m glad that helped.
You can make changes to the default colours used with your theme via the Colours & Backgrounds panel of the WordPress.com Customizer.
As you’ve already used custom CSS to set certain colours for parts of your site (using the guidance provided by Richard here) you may notice that changes you make via that panel don’t override the parts of your site you’ve changed using CSS.
If there’s a specific part of your site that you’re trying to change, that you can’t via the options in the Customizer, then please start a new thread on this forum an give specific details on what you’re trying to change.
Thanks!
