  Hello,
  I’m still new to wordpress.com as this is what my friend has introduced me to use for ecommerce or wordpress plugins called woocommerce. Sadly if I want to use woocommerce, I need to upgrade to business plan and still trying to understand things, so there might be some questions I would like to ask such as :
  1. How does business plan works ?
  2. If I choose to subscribe to business plan, do I need to apply for domain name or can I still use url.wordpress.com ?
  3. If the question to number 2 is yes, can I choose to change my domain name later once I have decided ?
  4. How does it work if I buy my domain name from outside of wordpress.com or bluehost ?

  Hi there!

  1. How does business plan works ?

  You can read everything about the Business plan here: https://wordpress.com/support/business-plan/

  2. If I choose to subscribe to business plan, do I need to apply for domain name or can I still use url.wordpress.com ?

  You don’t need to get a custom domain at the time of purchase. However, your URL will change from *.wordpress.com to *.wpstaging.com the moment you start installing and using third party plugins or themes (which includes WooCommerce).

  3. If the question to number 2 is yes, can I choose to change my domain name later once I have decided ?

  Yes, you can add a custom domain at a later date.

  4. How does it work if I buy my domain name from outside of wordpress.com or bluehost ?

  You would need to add domain mapping to use your domain here.
