Business Plan

A few months ago I paid $299 for the business plan, but when I go to the area about my site it is showing that I only have the free plan.

Where exactly does it say it’s only a free plan? Can you post a screenshot?

Don’t quite understand it. Me and a buddy bought the plan back in July, but some stuff happened and we never ended up moving forward so I’m trying to move forward with it now.

You requested a refund on July 23rd via live chat. If you want to purchase the Business plan again, you can do so from that page.

Ah I see a refund on my bank statement from you guys but not for the full 299. Why would that be? I swear I thought I had bought yalls business plan and the big package from godaddy with wordpress support or whatever as well.

You did buy the WordPress.com Business plan, but requested and received a refund as you mention. If you bought something from GoDaddy, you’d need to reach out to them about it. Any WordPress support they offer is through them.
As for the refund itself, you didn’t receive a full refund, as you registered a domain name. That domain name is still under your control, and you can use it wherever you like: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/

Ah I kind of remember that. Well let me ask. Should the Godaddy thing give me the features of the other plans on wordpress? I was kind of needing the other features offered from the other wordpress plans.

I’m not sure what the GoDaddy plan offers, as we’re not affiliated with them. However, since it sounds like you want to use the self-hosted version of WordPress, it sounds like GoDaddy is a good fit for you. You can keep your domain registration here, and we can renew it for you when the time comes.
