Business Plan – domain name purchase

    hi! I need a little help before purchasing a plan. FIRST, I’m trying to bulid a new website with an existing name from GoDaddy. Let’s call this one: ‘GO-DADDY-DOMAIN.com’. I need to purchase the Business Plan service from WordPress. That’s great. I want to purchase it today. HOWEVER, I understand that I get ‘1 free year of domain registration with this Business Plan service from WordPress’. Because I already have an existing domain from GoDaddy that I want to use right now, can WordPress help me secure this NEW 2nd domain name even if I don’t use it immediately? For example, let’s call the 2nd domain name ‘WORD-PRESS-DOMAIN.com’. Do I need to know the WordPress domain at the time of purchase or can I wait some time? Thank you!

    Your domain from GoDaddy can get connected to the WordPress.com business plan by following these steps: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

    The second domain, and any additional domains, can be registered to your account directly with in the WordPress.com eco system. That’s no problem at all. You can do that here: https://wordpress.com/domains/add/hisanta.christmas

    Use the red/pink button in the upper right corner of that screen to add new domains.
