Business Plan features

    Hello,
I’d like to host a website at wordpress.com, but I am not sure if it would be the ideal solution.
I already have a domain, http://www.newriders.com.br, a motorcycle tours and rentals web site through which motorcycle riders can register and purchase. Later on, I intend to translate it into English as well, so riders from abroad can purchase tours to come and ride with us in Brazil.
I have included a series of plugins, such as Image Gallery skins, Smart Forms, CRM, Wordfence, WooCommerce, TablePress, etc. It seems that the fact of having so many plugins, together with an extensive wordpress code, is causing a problem.
The problem is loosing connection every time I surf to another page.
I need to launch this asap. I estimate aproximately 1,000 visits per day and 50 users logged in (which could be at the same time). I cannot afford to have the web site dropping.
Question: If I hire WordPress.com’s Business Plan will it be able to handle my needs? Or would it be best to hire a manageable VPN with a swap area for when it reaches maximum memory capacity?

Looking forward to hearing from you, I thank you in advance.

  • Hi there,

Judging by your description WordPress.com won’t be the right fit for you. No plugins can be installed here at all, regardless of upgrade, and we also don’t support members-only areas on site.

On our VIP hosting you might be able to do what you want, but that starts at $5000 a month, so is significantly more expensive than Business.

Let me know if you have any other questions about this.
