Business Plan Purchase – refund for current products

  • Unknown's avatar

    I have recently brought a new template for my website and have started to develop it but have realised I cant get eccomerce unless I upgrade to the business plan. I am thinking of doing this as I want my website to be as streamline as possible but I just brought the existing template for $69 and by upgrading I would receive all templates for free meaning I just wasted $69. Is there a refund policy?
    Thanks

    Yes. Provided you are within the 30 days allowed and logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, you ought to be able to request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/cancel-domain/ and Guided Transfers.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    To confirm, you’d like me to remove and refund your Premium Theme purchase of Purpose, correct?

    If so, just let me know, and I will be happy to fulfill your request :-)

    Thanks for your response (so efficient – I love it).
    I think I’ll just wait until I’m ready with my product line before I move over to the business plan. This could be in 3 – 6 months time so I wont qualify for a refund but it will work out better for me anyway.
    I will definitely go for the business plan upgrade when my products are ready so I can keep everything streamlined.
    Thanks again for your help!

    Hi there,

    I need a bit of assistance for my website – I would like to make the top menu more prominent than it is (currently cant see it when you land on the homepage due to being to thinner / to small font (once you start to scroll its fine). I have searched everywhere but cant find where I can change this. Help !

    :)

    @saskiatrask

    You can accomplish this with CSS:

    /* Set Menu Font Link Color */
    #menu-main a {
      color: white !important;
    }

    Thanks for this. I have now changed the menu but I had another question (its like when I fix one thing the next thing needs to be fixed gah!) – I did post this question in the forum but haven’t received a response.
    Basically, the white menu font looks great and is visible now – yay! But for the drop down boxes in the menu – you cant see the font because the drop down box is also white. Sorry I tried to figure out how to change the colour of the background for the drop boxes but I couldnt work it out. it would be great to make it the same yellow as the menu sits on when its moving up and down. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thank you
