  Yes you can, although by paying monthly you do end up paying considerably more over the course of time. You also don’t qualify for a free custom domain for the first year or 24×7 Livechat by paying monthly.

  As @themagicrobot noted, you can purchase a Business plan on a monthly basis. If you already have a domain, you can connect it to your site.
