hello,
I am a marketing director working for a start up consulting business. We want want a full service website. Our consulting will rely heavily on content marketing, so having strong analytics will be essential. I do not have a strong web design background which is why i though wordpress would be a good place to start. I need google analytics, that is not up for debate. I’m wondering what is the best word press service to utilize so that i can install these plugins, plus various other seo plugins. do i have to build from scratch and code everything myself, or is there a way to do this utilizing the themes and services offered by wordpress?

And with Business Plan, you can also upload themes and plugins that you downloaded from the other authors/developers. So, with your site hosted on WordPress.com, you could focus on building your site without thinking much on the coding part.

WordPress.com sites are search engine friendly by default. Installing custom plugins (for SEO or other features) will require the Business plan:

No, you don’t have to code everything yourself. Plugins are a great to add additional functionality without needing to spent lots of time on development — the plugin and theme authors have already done that part for you :)
