Business Trial?

    Hi,

    We have a paid word press website but I would like to conduct some testing on a clean slate so I don’t accidentally break something. Can I get a 2 week trial on this profile so I can test some plug-ins?

    Hi there,

    In order to install plugins on a Business site you also need to connect a domain to the site, and domains can only be bought for a full year. So adding the upgrade for two weeks without a domain won’t allow you to install plugins for testing. But I can offer an alternative.

    There’s a service called http://poopy.life/ that exists for the sole purpose of setting up temporary WordPress sites for making mock-ups, testing themes, etc. As on WordPress.com you won’t have FTP access, just the basic WP-Admin dash and the front end of the site.

    Another option is a free hosting provider like thisistap.com. They’re a full WordPress host, but on their free option you also won’t have FTP or even a custom domain, but you’ll be able to install and connect Jetpack so that functionally the site is basically the same as a WordPress.com Business website.
