Business vs Enterprise?
-
Hello, I need help with determining if I should go with the Business or Enterprise WordPress.com package. I like the security I get with wordpress.com and don’t wish to download anything which eliminates wordpress.org.
In short, I know that long term, the Business package of $199/yr will be what I need, but for now I need design support and want to be 100% confident about my website. Me doing things myself will take way too long and I won’t have a peace of mind that its secure, done right, etc unless an expert does everything.
The design I want is basic and I am sure that there is already a theme for it somewhere, but with little time and not knowing where to look the Enterprise package for one month sounds like the best idea.
Having shared my whoas, What is the difference between Business vs Enterprise? Does Business give me what I’m looking for (theme design “from scratch” and recommendations for plug ins)?
I would love to talk with someone before making the purchase, but I can’t locate an option to do so. In all honesty, there are other questions that I have and would like to ask before deciding what to purchase. How can I get help with this? I need to talk with someone, it can be email or chat.
I am very much so a rookie regarding wordpress design, so please forgive me if I am not sharing enough info or asking the right questions. I’m really in need of some help.

It honestly sounds like the Go Pro $99 a year upgrade is all you need, as it comes with Custom Design support, which assists you in making design changes to customize existing themes.
There is no phone support, but you can ask questions here.
There is NO upgrade other than the VIP one ($2300 per month I think) that allows plugins, unless staff have been keeping things from us.

Don’t get too comfortable here – you probably have a Terms of Service issue.
You might also review the TOS before you get too far along:

RainCoaster, thank you! I see that I already have the pro bundle so it didn’t pop up in the store as I attempt to revisit the idea of my NEW website on wordpress. I’ll refresh again on what the Pro Bundle offers re: support.
When I made the purchase, I attempted to customize an existing theme (without activation however) and it looked like the customizations were painfully limited. I really don’t have any time as of now to rift through all of the themes and honestly, none of what I saw fit my taste buds. I understand that fonts, colors, photos, background images etc can be changed, but what about overall layout?
How would I go about getting a custom theme template made for me by a designer? Or can I possibly find a theme that already exists THEN use Pro Support to figure out how to adjust something close? (again this would mean that I am able to change column widths and move things around in the template. Much more than changing the color and background color).

You would have to hire a designer familiar with WordPress.com. You can change the layout considerably if you know what you’re doing, but you can’t change the function. For that reason, pick a theme that has the functions that you want and then customize that, rather than pick one you like the look of and try to make it work the way you want.
I do agree with auxclass that you should check those links. There’s no point investing in a site if you get suspended quickly.
