Business vs Enterprise Account
-
We’ve been reviewing the WordPress packages and actually feel the Business account might be appropriate. Would be interested to see the advantages of Business vs Commerce and Enterprise. For context, we host our own crypto exchange internally where customers buy/sell crypto, so would not be requiring the Commerce package benefits, hence Business seemed more appropriate for what we’re looking for.
Some areas in addition to our requirements that we’d like to cover on a call:

– Can we edit the legals/MSA in the Business package?
– Isolated site infrastructure, what does this imply in terms of an outage for WordPress?
– As per our company policy, we would, however, need to choose (at least) English and Welsh law and arbitration in the UK. Kindly confirm.WP.com: Yes

Hey there! I’d agree with your assessment: the eCommerce plan features a bundle of premium plugins, and it likely would not be the best fit for your niche. You would only need the Business Plan to install plugins.
Our VIP/Enterprise option would be best if you’re looking for an MSA. Would you like us to have someone reach out to you, or do you want to set up a call directly at wpvip.com? They should be able to answer questions about the hosting environment and arbitration as well.

Hi there, and thanks for coming back to me!
is Okta Single sign-on (SSO) possible on Business, and if not, would it be possible on Enterprise?
Please can we see a standard MSA for the Business package?
If arbitration is in the US, would it be possible to have this moved to the UK?

Hi there,

I did some research here and did not find any plugins available that add that functionality. I checked with Okta directly and they seem to have offered an intergration at one point that you can see here. However all links are greyed out and other than some page text there does not appear to be anything functional there.
You may wish to check with Okta directly to confirm, they may offer a solution I was not able to find.

I’m not sure that I understood. Can you clarify what an MSA is, and where you would use one? Do you mean an agreement between yourself and us as your provider?
Also can you clarify on what you had in mind regarding arbitration venue? A practical example may help here so that we’re sure to understand.
Thanks for the additional info!
