Business website on WordPress.com?
-
I want to start a business website for my company on WordPress.com.
Is this allowed or will the powers that be close it down? The page explaining the difference between WP.com and WP.org is extremely vague. It sounds like it is possible to use the WP.com site to do this but I want to make sure before being told I broke the rules!
I am not selling any products from the site but am giving information about our services so customers can contact us by phone or email. Email is through Google Apps.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Choose a plan: Choose between basic, premium, and business, ranging from $0 to $299. You can always upgrade to a paid plan later. Scroll down to “Choosing the WordPress plan that’s right for your site” on this page http://learn.wordpress.com/get-started/#wpplan
(Note that none of the plans allow you to upload your own themes or plugins; all this goodness is built right in to WordPress.com. If you need a site that requires a custom theme or plugins — e.g., if you want to be able to sell things you don’t create directly from your site, or you want to install discussion forums — a self-hosted WordPress site might be right for you. Learn about the difference here.)

Ok, thanks.
So as long as the whole site is on WordPress.com it is ok.
Is that right?
I am asking because I am tired of dealing with hosting companies that charge so little they can’t afford to give good service and they don’t have plans that are mid priced that offer better service. If I can put my whole site on WordPress.com I don’t mind paying $100 or $300 per year. I just don’t want to go through all the work and then have it shut down.
I would have asked all this directly to WordPress.com but it takes them 6 months to respond to any emails and I would like an answer quicker so I can get this going.
Thanks for your help.
