Buttons in text widgets

  So far the buttons I’ve added with the text Widgets have caused havoc with my blog. I’ve had to remove them entirely just to get the theme to work correctly and allow the other widgets to load. Any idea why this happens? I’d rather ask the stupid questions now than later.

  if there is the word “javascript” anywhere in that code you are pasting into your text widget, that would be the issue. We cannot use javascript on wordpress.com (security issue).

  Whenever looking for scripts to use, look for those that don’t have the word “javascript” in the code.

  Haven’t I seen you before? outside of the forums? :)

  Can you post a link to your blog so we can see. But usually the width of the images can drop the page to the bottom and completely screw up your site. With me, anything bigger than 175 – 185 pixels wide will cause problems. And anything you want centered like text or images, use the code

  <div align=”center”>IMAGE OR TEXT</div>
