buttons missing in write a post

  I can write posts and add picts but I have to guess at what the buttons are in rich editor. Happened last week sometime. When i do add a pict it is placed but you cant actually see it in the new post until you go to the site itself. I have tried ‘control F5’ and made sure ‘use the visual editor’ is ticked under Users/your profile. It isnt such a problem for me but I intend to hand over my blog to a friend while I go away for a holiday. Its a lost and found web site so really important to update daily – any help will be much appreciated – thank you Sideon
