Buy domain but not upgrade?

  Hi guys. We would like to purchase the .com domain name for our site (drop the wordpress in the title) but the only options available are to upgrade which we dont want to do since we are a small company starting out and dont have the money just yet. Previously i was able to do this easily for my other sites but now i cant seem to. Can you please advise. Thanks

  Good Morning – Recently the pricing for custom domains has changed for new account. New user accounts are now required to purchase an upgraded plan in order to register a custom domain.
