buy now buttons

    I have, so far, a free WP.com account, and I have a few photographs that I’d like to sell.

    If I format a WP button with the text “Buy Now” with a link to paypal to purchase,
    is this OK?

    I am selling only a few images, and then if I begin to sell more I would upgrade so that I could use a plugin.

    I performed a test and it works – but asking what is your policy and am I allowed to sell on a free site in this way?

    This is absolutely fine, you can sell your photos on your site.

    Also, note that you do not need a plugin to do that in the future. If you’re only going to sell a small number of products, you may want to use Simple Payments (you can use it with plans Premium or Business):
