Buying a Domain

  Hello,

  My blog domain is currently renewny.wordpress.com. I would like to drop the wordpress part of the domain. I know this will cost money. The problem, or question, I have is can change an already existing domain? I would imagine so but when I go to upgrade the process is misleading.

  Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.
