Buying a Domain

  I am fairly new to blogging, do I buy domain right away or first focus on building traffic?

  Hi there imalikshita, it depends on your goals. If you’re trying to build a brand first and foremost, you might go ahead and get the domain, especially if there’s one you like that’s currently available. But you don’t need a domain to build traffic, so if you’re mainly focused on getting your ideas out there, you can just start.

  Another idea: go with the personal plan and get your domain so your branding has its foot in the door, then build your traffic, and then work on monetization (if that’s your goal.)
